Painted Bears..The Black bear Film Festival 2009
If you were to visit Milford, Pa, now through October 16-18 you would find, apart from this wonderful town, nestled on the bank of the Delaware, fine restaurants, charming bed and breakfasts, country inns; you would also find statues of painted bears. Decorated by artists and sponsored by local businesses, these painted bears have become part of a treasure trove of activities during these weeks leading up to the film festival. So come to Milford, and when you get here, you know, its' where Pa meets NY and NJ, try to find those bears.. if not, watch this movie!! Enjoy Robert/Knowles Multimedia

Memory Lane.. 22 years later
Our daughter Kate, turns 22 next month.. Last year for her 21st, she went with friends to NYC..
Gosh the years have flown by.
My wife and I pulled some fotos and put them together in this slide show.. No, we won't be showing them at her birthday party..... There's a thought!!

Jaime & Jeremy.. July 24 2009
Wonderful day..
Jaime and Jeremy saw my work on line and through Rob Lettieri invited me to be part of their day.
We began at the brides home, filled with her sisters, Mom and nieces, it was a full house.
Ceremony was at the beautiful St Nicholas Church where Msgr Ruascher told the story of how the couple met when they were 6 years old on a school outing!!! Many years later, Jeremy asked her out.
Reception was held at the Newberry Estates in Dallas, Pa.. An old private home now used exclusively for events. Just fabulous.
Thanks again for inviting me. Enjoyed being part of it all.

They "kicked their video up a notch".... Scheduled audio interviews the day prior with select family members..so I spent an overnight, got to meet all family members.. It was really great to have been part of their day...We then used selected sound bites over their recap.. Very cool..
Fabulous weekend weather over the July 4th weekend.

2009 O.E Club USA Chapter, Gathering in Washington, DC.
In February, I received a note from the UK, from my school, asking if any alumni living in the States would like to attend the first gathering to be held in the US, in Washington, DC
Some came from British Columbia, Nova Scotia, Boston, faculty from the UK and my wife and I drove down from Milford, Pa. About 20 of us attended.
Not all were from my class, many were from earlier years, but it didn't seem to matter, it was fascinating to hear what we had all accomplished.
We tacked a few extra days on so that I, who had never really explored DC could get a glimpse of this city.
There were so many highlights. For me, a Brit who has lived in the US for 30 years, the tour of the Capital was amazing.
We were also so privileged to have had a guided personal tour of "The Written in Bone" exhibition by world renown forensic anthropologist, Douglas Owsley, and for those who are "CSI's", that was awesome.
Lastly, an evening, hosted by our stateside chapter president, at a Virginia farmhouse. Thank you all for making this possible.
