1949...60 years later!!!.... wedding film on dvd!!... Priceless

60 years ago, Eva, S... had her wedding filmed on 8mm film.. Much of the film had been damaged but we were able to salvage a few precious seconds of it.....She had learnt that I transferred films...8mm/super8, (w/wo sound)/16mm to video, (w/wo sound).

A week later, as she viewed the clip from a dvd which I made, she began to cry.....she and her cousin are the few remaining from that wonderful day.

The moment was priceless....

Apart from the wedding footage, her husband had recorded many years of family functions .. Over 2500ft... and we were able to transfer it all to a dvd with music and chapters.. Very cool...

How do we do this...(for the techs)

Many years ago, I purchased Elmo transvideo projectors which were made to convert film (24fps) to video(30fps)...29.9. The video outputs directly to my mac onto final cut through a canopus video pass through.

There is no flicker because of the unique 5 bladed shutter, and the captured original footage remains pristine.

Here are a few moments of their family footage.

Thanks Eva....Enjoy
